Just FYI to NAP and Mike Luster...Mechanical Broadheads (Killzone) are illegal in Washington state. I'd pull that video of Mike and let him know. Though I completely disagree with our law in this regard, it is the law and therefore I just want to let you and Mike know. This could blow up into a real mess for him.

When did Washington approve the use of MECHANICAL BROADHEADS? I thought fixed blades were the only broad heads allowed in Washington.

In this and the last 6 to 10 videos showing the results of Killzone shots, all have shown very limited penetration. I'm amazed at the how lethal the shots are with such short penetration. I'll stick to Bear Razorheads. Tom Liston (author of Physical Laws of Archery.)

After viewing the video, it seems like there's hardly any penetration to the elk's left chest. Looks like the arrow only went in like about 1/4.

I use nap mechanical broadheads I would to try the new kill zone the others work good I use a darten cross bow its wicked but when I hunt bear I back it up with a 12 ga pump just to be a little safer before I would comment on the new producks I would try them first

Nice elk.Good shot.Have to admit though the penetration looked poor(not necessarily the broadheads fault, equipment could be an issue, placement? etc.).Concerned on the possible State law topic, but give you the benefit of the doubt as to that you SHOULD know what you are doing. Congrats!

I have the kill zones for this year for deer. For elk, well he did get him, but the penetration was awful. I have killed elk easily using the Razor Cap, that is the head he should have used.
