New Archery Nation 2011 | N. Dakota
Brady Arview and Jason McKee of NAP's New Archery Nation Field Staff traveled to N. Dakota the final week of August 2011 to hunt for velvet whitetails with Cory Spotted Bear on the Ft. Berthold Indian Reservation near Twin Buttes, N. Dakota.
The trip turned out to be successful, with two beautiful velvet bucks being taken on film for the NAN Staff—a solid kickoff to the 2011 Fall Archery Season. We'd like to thank Attas Boutrous for providing us with a beautiful and comfortable "home away from home" for the hunt—and John Arman & Kurt Schirado of Team UOA for man'ing the cameras for the hunt.
In the end, the experience was truly one to remember—beautiful country, good folks to share camp with—and two velvet bucks as icing on the cake.
**Both hunts will be featured in an upcoming "webisode" on the New Archery Nation Web Show.
Attas Boutrous spent two years building his own little slice of heaven deep in the hills of N. Dakota. Attas was kind enough to allow us to stay there for our hunt—and an outdoorsman couldn't ask for a more beautiful and comfortable "home" for such a getaway. The views all around were simply breathtaking—pictures do not do this country justice!

Once again, we'd like to thank Attas, Cory, Zach, John & Kurt for a wonderful all-around hunt! Hope to share camp with you all again in the future!
